Hello. Buy a big ass CPU. ;-)Encoding depends on CPU power, quality settings for Shrink, the amount of compression and the kind of action in the movie. The reader can also effect the rate. ROMs are faster reading than writers(if locked). Last but not least make sure the DMA is enabled.What is your CPU and the rates you see encoding. 30 Mar 2005 @ 1:44
